IHS
Product drops, new guides and the occasional honest deal. Never more than one email a month.
Our story
About us
Maya Patel
Co-founder & CEO
Maya spent a decade in consumer-hardware supply chains before founding IHS — and decided the industry's real problem wasn't making good gear, it was selling it honestly.
Leo Nakamura
Co-founder & Head of Product
Leo tests every product we stock for weeks before it earns a listing. If it rattles, flexes, or runs hot, it never makes the catalog — whatever the margin says.
“We build the boring half of tech — power, cables, mounts — to a standard nobody expects it to have. That gap is the whole brand.”
Our vision
IHS exists because the accessories aisle became a lottery. We are the sum of every dead cable we ever bought, and we're here to sell gear that outlives the device it was bought for — described honestly, warrantied properly.

Sara Okonkwo
Customer experience
Reads every support thread herself — and rewrites a product page whenever two customers ask the same question.
Tom Ericsson
Lead reviewer
Runs the test bench: drop rigs, sweat baths, and a drawer of chargers that died so yours don't have to.
Ana Reyes
Logistics
Owns the 48-hour dispatch promise across every warehouse and carrier we ship with.
Dev Sharma
Engineering
Builds the storefront you're reading — fast, quiet, and allergic to pop-ups.
Where everything started
IHS was born in 2024 over a drawer every household has: the one full of chargers that stopped charging and cables that frayed in a season. Our first order of 500 chargers sold out in nine days — funded from savings, packed on a kitchen table.
Not put back, but encouraged by thousands of customers who believed the boring stuff deserved better, we kept going.
Our philosophy
Sourcing
Direct from brands
Every unit arrives from the manufacturer, not a broker. Serial numbers are verified before stock goes live.
Testing
Weeks before listing
Products live on our own desks and in our own bags before they earn a page. The catalog is the survivors.
Support
Humans, one business day
No scripts, no ticket purgatory. An order number is all anyone will ever ask you for.
What are our ambitions
The plan is not a bigger catalog — it is a deeper one. Every new product has to clear the same bar as the first five: used hard, travels light, lasts years. Growth that costs the standard isn't growth we want.
Guides, comparisons and explainers from the same desk that tests the catalog — written to save you money, not spend it.
